We are so proud to see that the song written and performed by the digital leaders in our school is now available to download on iTunes and Google Play!
In the process of making the song, we decided to choose a charity for all the money made from the project to go to. After doing some research, we decided on the Save the Children charity. The children felt Christmas is a special time for children and wanted to make sure that every child can enjoy Christmas in a safe environment.
Everything with the project was created on an iPad, the artwork, song and video!
You can watch the video here and then download the song to try and help us get in the charts!
In the lead up to Christmas, we would love to see all your wonderful Christmas trees and talk about how you have decorated them! Please get involved by adding a Christmas Tree Selfie of yourself or with your siblings in front of your tree. Just double tap anywhere on the following Padlet wall to upload your selfie! 🌲🌲🌲
This week we will be paying our respects to all the brave soldiers over the years who have died in different wars for our country. We would love children, parents and family members to contribute to our online Remembrance Day wall to make our thoughts and prayers more personal. Please share details or pictures of any family members we need to remember this week. These will be shared and discussed with children this week, thank you!
Mr Parkinson worked with Year 4 this week and inspired some fantastic writing by using Greenscreen to create videos of a dinosaur roaming the school! Please comment and let us know what you think of our work –
Over the past few weeks, both Year 4 classes have been working with Mr Parkinson on a very special project based on the William Shakespeare play ‘Romeo and Juliet.’ They have been using the iPad to help learn the story and create their own versions. Within groups they tackled a different Act each and worked creatively to produce their own interactive comics. Here are their efforts –
They would love a comment, please encourage all their efforts by leaving them some encouraging feedback! Thanks!
